Basil Potato Chips

WHAT WE NEED:

2 Large Potatoes
1 Cup of All-purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ground Pepper
1/2 Cup Basil (Fresh/Dried)
Vegetable Oil

Procedure:

Mix in together the flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl or plate whichever you prefer to create a Coating Mixture. Mince the fresh basil, or you can use a dried one that can be bought from the grocery, then put it in together with the coating mixture.

Make sure to wash the potato properly so you don't need to peel off the skin, as others says that the potato skin has more nutrients.Cut the potato very thin or by using a fruit cutter that you can buy on Japanese stores.

After cutting the potatoes, dip them one by one on the Mixture Coating that we made.

Get a good frying Pan (the one that is more deeper than ordinary frying pan), so that you wont need much oil. Set your stove to medium heat and once the cooking oil is hot enough, put the slices of potato (do not put them all at once,as we want the potato to be crispy and not oily).Once the potatoes are golden brown bring it out of the oil and let it drip on a tissue to remove the oil, after a few minutes you now have a Crispy Potato Chips with Basil flavor.

have a nice snack!!
